What is the procedure for application of surveying/measuring house property area in Tamil Nadu? Where to apply for it? How much will it cost?

    1.  Go to thasilthar office of your surroundings.

2.  Ask for the surveying application letter, and the challan.

3.   Fill in that application letter and the challan.

4.   Give the filled in letter and challan in the thasilthar office they will put the seal give it back to you.

5.  Take that letter to revenue department near you and give the letter and challan they will also put a seal and give you back.

6.  Take this to the SBI bank and pay Rs.80 with the challan.

7.  Finally take the letter, paid challan to the thasilthar office. They will put a seal and they will keep that with them. And they will direct you to the surveyor who is in charge for that surrounding and from there you have to follow up the surveyor when will he be coming to measure your land. thats it.
